Since a young boy in 1966 Rocco Quaglia has brought his visions of beauty to life on film. He began using and old Brownie 120 m.m. film camera to capture local images and stimulate the mind. In 1969 he progressed to 8 and 16 m.m. film, and with the advent of video in 1971, he has become a master. Growing up just minutes from New York City in the suburbs of New Jersey, Rocco felt held back by the seasons so he moved to the Southern Florida Beaches in the eighties where the sun shines best and the action never ceases.
In 1990, Rocco’s film career went International with the Italian version of the Karate Kid which was filmed in Broward County Florida. As First Assistant Director and Still Photographer, Rocco lead the way for Rome’s Fulvia Films to excite audiences in Italy with "The Boy Of The Golden Kimono II & III" which Won Awards for Best Family Programming on Italian Television. In 1991, he took on the added duty of being the Associate Producer for "The Boy of The Golden Kimono IV & V".
In late 1991, Rocco realized the need of the Independent and opened Pisces Films International which went on to become the Pisces Entertainment Group and now Pisces Multimedia Services. Pisces is a Diverse Advertising, Marketing, Print, & Video Production Company which strives to bring that personal touch to all projects. This online Magazine www.FlaEntertainmentInsider.com is one of them.
In the mid 90’s Rocco was captivated by the advances in Video Projection and Graphic Technologies and pursued his studies in Video. The rest is now history as Rocco has Produced, Directed, Switched, Projected and Videotaped Countless Corporate Events throughout the United States. Rocco has been able to help many Event Planners and Managers due to his Extensive Working Knowledge of Many South Florida Venues and Events. His Skills, Leadership and Management Abilities as a Video Crew Leader have proved a Much Valued Asset to All. He has worked for all the Top Audio Video Companies but has never accepted a permanent position with any of them in the past.
Rocco is available to work anywhere in the World as a Still Photographer, Camera Operator, Director or what may be needed on any Professional Film, Video, TV Show or Special Event that may further his career.
Rocco is also a Licensed Florida Real Estate Agent with Klein Morgan Realty of Boca Raton, Florida. He has offered his assistance as a Location Manager and Scout for several South Florida Productions. He has also helped find rental housing for celebrities such as Lorraine Bracco, Tony Goldwyn and others while shooting films in South Florida.
